At a glance

Redion launches a breakdown assistance product for light vehicles over 50cc and motorbikes.

Breakdown assistance for a particular range of vehicles

More and more people own a type of vehicle other than a classic personal car (combustion-engine or electric) and use it for leisure or daily commuting.

On our roads, we're therefore seeing more motorbikes, motorcycles or mopeds, but also more and more other vehicles such as (maxi) scooters, touring motorbikes, sidecars, adventure bikes, trikes, quads, and enduro or trial motorbikes.
It isn't always easy to properly cover these vehicles in the event of a breakdown or accident while travelling in Belgium or abroad.

This is why Redion Belgium is launching a new assistance product specifically designed to cover this type of vehicle over 50cc: the "Motorbike".

Assistance in Belgium, but also abroad

The basic Motorbike breakdown assistance is valid in Belgium, but it can be extended to neighbouring countries or geographical Europe (optional extension).

It also allows you to have access to a replacement vehicle of the same type as the immobilised vehicle (if available) or a category B rental car (economy or compact) or category D (standard or premium). This is also an optional extension to the basic contract.

A wide range of assistance services

The Motorbike contract provides, among other things, the following services:

for people:

- covering the return home of the occupants of the immobilised vehicle, along with their luggage and accompanying pets.

- in the event of a breakdown abroad, a mobility solution suited to the situation and the organisation of the continuation of the trip.

- psychological support following an accident, legal advice assistance, cover for physiotherapy following an accident, return home due to inability to drive, and even support with buying replacement luggage after an accident.

for the insured vehicle:

- breakdown assistance and towing of the vehicle in Belgium from home, as well as in another covered country, in the event of a breakdown, accident, theft, faulty battery, wrong fuel and flat tyre.

- transporting the immobilised vehicle to the garage of your choice if it can't be repaired within 2 hours in Belgium, or within 48 hours in another covered country.

- "Cycle Assistance": assistance for (electric) bicycles and other cycles with a maximum of 3 wheels in Belgium.
