Business Bike assistance is dedicated to companies whose employees travel by bike, in Europe or only in Belgium. It covers both private and professional cycling trips. The employee benefits from a replacement bicycle during the period of immobilization and bicyle repair.

The benefits in detail

Amounts, conditions and franchises, guarantee by guarantee.

Breakdown and towing service to the place of stay, or a nearby approved repair shop. > No contribution to the bike repair costs.

Transportation of the employee, their luggage, and any minor children they are solely responsible for at that time. > No contribution to meals and drinks costs.

If the event takes place in Belgium or the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the bicycle cannot be repaired within 24 hours, a replacement bicycle will be made available to the employee. > Max 5 working days.

We cover and organize the transport of the employee and their luggage in the following cases: to their home, if the theft occurs in Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, or within a 30 km radius beyond their national borders, to their place of residence, to the starting or ending point of the cycling tour, or to a location in Belgium or the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg where the user needs to go. In this last case, we also cover the return to their home or place of residence, provided the theft occurs in Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, or within a 30 km radius beyond their national borders. > Up to €150 of assistance in total.

When we transport the bicycle, we cover the storage costs of the bicycle from the day of the request for transportation until the day the bicycle is picked up by the carrier. > No intervention if the bike is immobilised for maintenance operations.

If the employee has travelled by bicycle to work in Belgium or the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, we will pay for the taxi journey to the place of residence : in the event of the sudden hospitalisation/death of a family member up to the first degree, or in the event of damage to the employee's home. > Up to €100 of assistance in total.
