Thanks to our travel insurance Snow your trip (from 1 to 45 days) to the snow is properly protected. You are guaranteed extensive medical assistance in case of illness or accident, reimbursement of search and rescue costs on and off the ski slopes and specific travel assistance services in case of bad weather during your stay abroad.

Cover of search and rescue costs > Up to €5,000.

Reimbursement of medical expenses abroad > Up to €250,000 per person per event.

Cover for medical expenses in Belgium following an incident abroad > Up to €2,500.

If necessary, a Redion doctor will be sent to your location. > If our medical team determines that this is necessary based on your health condition.

Organising and paying for the return of other insured individuals > Only if your repatriation prevents them from continuing their journey by the means originally planned.

Return of children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren to Belgium with an accompanying person > If you choose to have your child accompanied by a person of your choice, we will cover hotel costs up to a maximum of €125.

Organising the return to Belgium of pets travelling with you > Quarantine or veterinary cost required by regulations remains at your expense.

Reimbursement of early return travel costs in the event of hospitalization/death of a relative in Belgium > Only if the hospitalisation lasts more than 5 days (or 48 hours in the case of your child) and the seriousness of the patient's condition justifies your presence at their bedside.

Coverage of transport costs for a relative travelling from Belgium to be visit you if you are hospitalised > Only if you are unaccompanied and the hospitalisation is estimated to last more than 5 days.

Transportation of both parents to visit a child hospitalized abroad > Contribution to hotel costs limited to €65 per night per room and €500 in total.

Coverage of your return if your home in Belgium is seriously damaged while you are abroad. > Proof of loss and, in the event of theft, a copy of the police report must be sent to us.

Quick provision of funds as part of assistance abroad > Up to €2,500.

Sending glasses, prostheses and medicines directly to your place of stay > Only if the equivalent cannot be found locally, if it is essential and prescribed by a practitioner.

Assistance in case of legal proceedings abroad > Advance on criminal bail limited to €12,500 per insured person.

Assistance in case of loss or theft of travel documents and transportation tickets abroad > Up to €125 for administrative costs.

We can help you organize the practical details of your trip to the snow by informing you about the routes to the ski resorts, road and traffic conditions, information on the ski resorts (pistes, prices, snow levels...), Ambulance services, rental companies for medical equipment...

Coverage for extended stays if you are unable to return from holiday on the scheduled date > Up to €150 per day for the first insured person and €50 per day for each other insured person (maximum 5 consecutive days per event).

Natural disasters covered: volcanic eruptions, strong gusts of wind, torrential rain, floods, overflowing rivers, hurricanes > Exact definition given in the general terms and conditions.
