With our temporary travel assistance, you benefit from complete protection for the duration of your long stay abroad (from 91 to 364 days), including extended medical assistance in the event of illness or accident and specific travel assistance in case of problems during your stay abroad.

Repatriation of the injured or sick person with an insured companion of their choice > Intervention may be limited in certain countries.

Reimbursement of medical expenses abroad > Up to €250,000 per person per event.

Search and rescue costs > Up to €5,000.

If necessary, a Redion doctor will be sent to your location. > If our medical team determines that this is necessary in view of your state of health.

Coverage of insured persons travelling with you > Only if your repatriation prevents them from continuing their journey by the means originally planned.

Reimbursement of early return travel costs in the event of hospitalization/death of a relative in Belgium > Only if the hospitalisation lasts more than 5 days (or 48 hours in the case of your child) and the seriousness of the patient's condition justifies your presence at their bedside..

Assistance in the event of death > Lump-sum amount for coffin expenses (up to €620).

Sending glasses, prostheses and medicines directly to your place of stay > Only if the equivalent cannot be found locally, if it is essential and prescribed by a practitioner.
