Either way, here's some good news: a Dutch inventor has created the "Lopifit", a walking treadmill on a bike!

The "Lopifit", or the art of cycling by walking

The Lopifit was invented by Bruin Bergmeester, who lives in Valthe in the Netherlands. He'd had enough of walking on his treadmill, shut away at home between four walls. So he thought about moving it outside his house and fitting it with two wheels and a small on-board computer. And that's how the "Lopifit" was born.
This type of bike lets you reach a speed 4 times higher than walking pace.
