1. Activities for kids? Try a treasure hunt
Kids love treasure hunts. They're playful and let children keep busy while stepping into the shoes of a detective. Not sure how to organise one?
The idea behind a treasure hunt is to hide envelopes around the house, in the garden or in a park. Each one holds a clue that leads the children to the next envelope, until they finally reach the treasure chest.
2. A vegetable garden for kids
Fewer and fewer children know where food actually comes from. Growing a vegetable garden with your kids is therefore an educational and fun way to teach them where fruit, vegetables and herbs come from.
So instead of staying indoors, spend an afternoon gardening with your children. They'll love getting their hands in the soil and having fun outdoors.
3. Discovering fantastic animals
A trip to the zoo or aquarium is a guaranteed success, whatever the age of your little ones! Already been round every zoo in the country? Take your kids to a butterfly house, an ostrich farm or a bison ranch. Yes, these really exist in Belgium!

Do your children love nature and thrills? Take them on a treetop adventure course. Monkey bridges, Tarzan jumps, giant steps… tree climbing is the perfect activity for a dose of adventure and excitement. And since the courses are designed to suit everyone, they range from easy to challenging for all ages. Whether your children are 3 or 18, adventurous or a little more cautious… there's something for them.
